Angharad Evans


Angharad’s role involves undertaking and producing specific projects which engage and support the local, and wider communities of Wales. Promoting partnership working is an important aspect of her role. Being a fluent welsh speaker she is an asset in promoting the welsh language.

Angharad has a particular interest and a vast amount of experience of working with community, using the arts to enrich people’s lives. Her recent work includes working as Community engagement Project Manager on the Man Engine Cymru; Forging a Nation event across 5 sites in South Wales. She is also creative associate for The Republic of the Imagination. In August 2017 Angharad was part of the Decor Team for Green Man Festival. In January 2016 she volunteered on Transform Project India working with 700 children from deprived areas and schools with 20 Artists on a carnival with recycled materials.In 2015, she wrote, produced and directed ‘In Light of Tom Mathias’ a site specific production back in her home village in Cilgerran. Her interest lies in Immersive Theatre and Outdoor Arts, having worked on Ar Waith ar daith with Walk the Plank, BArts Stoke Puppeteer.

In her spare time Angharad enjoys folk dancing with Cwmnu Gwerin Pontypool, and connecting with nature.
